This was one of the only restaurants on this island that served coffee which my husband appreciated. Both were excellent and the flavors, seasonings, and sauces were superb. We had a scallop appetizer followed by the main meal, Pork Chop for my husband and Crusted Cod fish for me. Lots of Wine options, only 4 drink cocktails and various beer options are available. For those that wished to eat outdoors, they had a canopy/ canvas covering to keep the rain out as the weather was a little inclement the week we visited the island. Indoor and outdoor seating are available. While walking around town, we found this restaurant hidden on a quiet street, Winter St. And ask for Michael!ĭétente Restaurant was one of the places recommended by the Inn we were staying at. We loved this spot for the fun atmosphere and delicious foods. The girls split the flourless chocolate dessert and enjoyed every last bite!! The cocktails were really good, the wine list so-so but everything else was fantastic. lobster with spätzle and fresh veggies with one of my daughters, it was over the top delicious! My other daughter had the scallops and also found them to be delicious. The Jonas crab and asparagus salad was very fresh, not overdressed and gracious plenty to share. We shared everything we ordered and were not disappointed with our choices. By far the best server we had during our stay on Martha’s Vineyard. Our server Michael made our dining experience absolutely delightful. It was a fun spot to sit we could look out across the rooms and watch the hustle and bustle of this lively restaurant. My daughters and I were seated upstairs in the back room next to the fireplace.
